I am certified as both a Senior Professional in HR (SPHR) from the Human Resource Certification Institute and a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from the Society of Human Resource Management.
During my 18 years of generalist experience in human resources, I have served as the University of Central Florida’s (UCF’s) Director of Human Resources for the College of Business and as an adjunct instructor for their Management Department, teaching employment law and compensation. It was at UCF that I first earned my Master of Science in HR and Change Management and my Master of Arts in Applied Economics.
My passion is helping small businesses with their HR needs and laying the foundation for their policies and procedures. In my free time, I enjoy volunteering with UCF’s Small Business Development Center on the Advisory Board Council, helping grow small businesses to the next level. I’ve been happy to see some of these very businesses go on to win regional and state SBA awards.
